Description
The calendar served as an appointment book for Cather, with brief, single word entries written in Cather's hand. She recorded appointments or visits with individuals such as McCreery, Yehudi Menuhin, Father Shehan, and Myra Hess, doctor's appointments, massages, haircuts and shampoos, trips to the bank or library, notes about writing to someone, and other general activities. A newspaper clipping on Kamil Ondrak's death in Omaha, Nebraska, and the burial of Queen Marie of Romania were inserted into the calendar.

Description
The record book includes financial records kept by Cather. The initial entries are listed as "Money Given Away" starting in 1930 and ending in 1944. Entries from 1924 through 1940 note deposits or checks from her publishers, banks, and royalties from her books, including Wyoming Trust Co., Union Trust Co., of Pittsburgh, Houghton Mifflin, Alfred Knopf and others. Bank letters or invoices are occasionally inserted into the book. In addition, a picture of Stephen Tennant is pasted on the inside front cover, along with genealogical information on his parents. Several newspaper clippings are inserted or pasted down throughout the book. Most of the entries are in Cather's hand, or may also be written by Edith Lewis.

Description
The composition book has Edith Lewis's signature on the upper right-hand corner of the cover. The first four pages includes material written by Edith Lewis, including short notes on daily activities in Taos, New Mexico, and notes on names, places, and annual flowers found in Taos. Cather wrote a short story on the next four pages, titled "Party at .... " that later appeared in the novel Death Comes for the Archbishop. Later pages include Lewis's list in English and Spanish of questions, answers, and selected phrases. Two additional pages include Cather's on "Santa Fe 1840" and the "Navajo War."

Description
A record book of 182 lined pages. The initial four pages include pasted down newspaper clippings, a hand drawn map of Blue Mesa with buildings drawn in and identified, and a clipping with the notice of G.P. Cather's death. On page 42 is an attached list of forms of various names typed on letterhead from the Department of Slavonic Languages and Literatures at the University of Nebraska. Two additional pages have titles written at the top of the page, with the first, "Sunday on the Seine," crossed out and the second with the title "G.P.'s Story." The record book was turned upside down and the back page includes a stanza of writing in Cather's hand with the first line reading "Tree of half-hearted deeds and first beginnings." Pasted on the back inside cover of the book are published pages of arias from Madame Butterfly. Inserted into the back cover are several sheets of letterhead from The Shattuck Inn, Jaffrey, New Hampshire. Multiple pages have been torn out of the record book.
