Description
A black and white photograph of the Burlington Depot in Red Cloud, Nebraska. The building is has one story in the front, and two in the back; the top floor used to serve as a dormitory for railroad workers. The camera looks upon the building from across the street, possibly after it has been moved to its new location. There is a sign that reads "Red Cloud" on top of the large portico, and underneath streetcars are parked. Shadows from an unseen tree are cast upon the street, and more vegetation fills the background. The date "May 72" has been printed at the top margin of the photograph.

Description
A black and white photograph of Mildred Bennett and Doris Ballard in 1972 at the Willa Cather Pioneer Memorial in Red Cloud, Nebraska. Mildred, who is closer to the camera, looks through books and artifacts, possibly in the archival space. She wears a light trenchcoat, and Doris behind her wears a jacket and ascot and watches Mildred's hands. Behind the women is a wire grid panel that reaches the ceiling. There is a framed artwork hanging behind Mildred's head and a newspaper on display below it.
