Description
Camp kitchen badlands. Photo mounted in 1895-96 book. The camp kitchen is in a relatively flat treeless landscape. In the left and center foreground, three men sit around a wooden box, on which rest cooking utensils and game. The man on the far left is slumping with his arms on his knees and holds a dead hare. The other two men are holding a dead bird with its wings outstretched. The center man is looking forward, while the man on the right focuses on picking feathers off the bird. To the right of the image's center, a fourth man stands with his hands on his hips and observes the others from behind. More cooking supplies are on a crate beside him.
