Nebraska Legislature
Description
A sepia studio portrait of the 29th session of Representative Hall in Nebraska Legislature on March, 1905. A group of men and one woman face the camera in the three rows with the last row standing. The middle row sits on wooden chairs while two men in front sit on the ground with their legs crossed. All of the men wear dark suits and have short, slicked back hair and some have beards, mustaches, and muttonchops. The one woman has her dark hair in an updo, wears a long dress with puffy sleeves, and holds a piece of paper in her lap. Behind the group is a forest backdrop and in front of them is a fur rug. Written in the bottom right hand corner of the photograph is "Clements, Lincoln, Nebr."
