Description
A carefully graded spillway at the end of field terraces with a brush dam structure at end to slow run-off and reduce gulley erosion. Stretching from foreground to background, a bare strip runs along the right edge of terraced cropland. Men are working with shovels and wheelbarrows near the dam in the background, and an automobile is parked near them at the field's edge.
