Description:
Stage machinery at the Teatro Farnese. This elaborate machinery used the principle of a blossoming flower, each 'petal' holding either a deity or painted pieces of scenery mounted on a stem, expanded outward from a central stem, similar to viewing from the bottom opening of an umbrella.
