Description:
The Shubert brothers, now part of American theatrical legend, were the canniest of the early 20th century producers. After winning skirmishes with the Theatrical Syndicate, they went on to consolidate an empire by controlling the best tradition of trust, building the 'product' from inception to distribution to the public. Sam S. Shubert posed in a studio for this portrait
