C.28. Craonnelle. General View. 'Chemin des Dames' Aug 1917 Several soldiers stand and sit, posing for a group photograph, on a rubble pile with the ruined village in the background. Only a few of the village's buildings have some roof timbers remaining, and most of the buildings are missing chunks of their walls as well as their roofs.
