R.18. Novion-Porcien. A bridge blown up by a late mine. Several soldiers are lined up on the bank across the river from the photographer, whose hand appears in the lower left. Two soldiers stand to the left of center near the water, while two others walk up the bank. Rubble from the ruined bridge has tumbled down the steep bank toward the water. The city's buildings, one of which may be a church, stand in the background.
