Project Description: This twelve-acre park on the north shore of the Tennessee River includes a restored historic carousel, multi-purpose pavilion and numerous access points to the river for recreational activities. Sculptural land forms and plantings distinguish this landscape. Behind this waterfront park is an eclectic retail and entertainment area housed in restored historic industrial and commercial buildings. The Walnut Street Bridge (a pedestrian only bridge) connects downtown Chattanooga with this new park and business district. Project History: The park was named after Charles H.
