Description:
Finished grading for a grassed terrace waterway in Harlan County in 1934. In the right midground a group of men around a wheelbarrow work with shovels while two others stand in the background observing. The men appear to be doing shallow digging and depositing dirt in the wheelbarrow. They are in a treeless rural setting.
