The family members sit and stand on a Victorian style porch with ornate trim beneath the eaves, lathe-shaped posts, and railing spindles arranged in a geometric pattern. The decorative details are painted in contrasting colors. Potted plants fill the space around the stairs and behind the family, and a hosta blooms in the lower right beside the stair.
