Description:
The focus of the foreground is a light-colored barren area of land marked by deep grooves. Pine cones are scattered in some of the grooves. The land slopes upward on the right of the image, and vegetation grows near the top of the slope. In the background is a rolling landscape with clumps of pine trees.
