This garment was owned by Ilona Beck (1918-2013) a professional dress maker, the donor's mother. Beck was born in Czechoslovakia and was a Holocaust survivor. She lived most of her life in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Multi colored ensemble with matching quilted jacket; blouse with bow tie; pleated mid length skirt Unique melding of contemporary floral geometric print with jacket constructed relaying a reference to a classical Tyrolean jacket. Loden green binding.
