COMMERCIAL COMICS was actively involved in the 1965 and 1966 political elections of New Jersey and did promotional giveaway books in these back-to-back years! What makes these books unusual is that they were the first political comic books done in Spanish for U.S. elections as both candidates were of Spanish descent who reached out for the Spanish-speaking voters of New Jersey.
This book was for Warren Wilentz in his 1966 bid for U.S. Senator from New Jersey. The book highlights his life and tells about his concerns for the good people of New Jersey and how he hopes to help them as their U.S. Senator.
This book is 5” x 7” and 16-pages in length, produced in English.
