1940. Oil used during test is weighed. Before the test oil is drained from the tractor. New oil is weighed and put in the tractor. After the tests the oil is drained and weighed again. The difference is the oil used during the test. The photograph shows a tractor test technician adjusting the scale weights. The container with drained oil is on the scale.
