Map made around 1930, during a period of explosive economic, cultural and population growth for the Argentine capital. Streets and squares depicted on the map was lined with city blocks, configuration of the blocks, differentiated by colors according to building density and complete numbering of streets. Includes names of main public buildings, railway lines and places of interest. This early edition of the Bemporat plan of Buenos Aires was made especially for automobile drivers, at the time that the use of cars was becoming widespread for the first time. Explained within the box entitled ‘Pavimentacion Urbana’, in the lower right, the streets heightened in red are cobbled, while the streets heightened in blue are paved with asphalt.
