Lithographed map of Belgium and Luxemburg on 42 sheets, updating the 42 original sheets engraved and issued by Ferraris in 1777. Published by Etablissement Geographique de Bruxelles in Brussels 1831. Title page includes Index map and legend “Signes conventionels”. Maps on sheets 47x61, some outline hand coloring, showing cities, roads, railroads, canals, rivers, terrain profile, forests, fortifications, and landmarks, including the plans of the six principal cities. Relief shown by hachures, Depth shown by isolines. Maps are numbered and surrounded by a decorative frame. Bound in half leather brown covered boards, with title stamped in black on front cover and in gold on spine.
