Shows Towns, cities, rivers, mountains, swamps, forests, political boundaries, and great estates- are all noted. The place names are given in Latin, Hungarian, German, Czech, Slovenian, Croatian, Wendic, Polish, Ruthenian, and Wallachian. Relief shown by hachures and shadings. Accompanied book dated 1808, includes text and complete index of all settlements and other geographical names, bound in half leather marbled covers with title "Lipszky Repertorium locorum" on spine. Janos Lipszky (April 10, 1766 - May 2, 1826), also known as Joannes de Lipszky or Jan Lipszky, a Hungarian Hussar Officer, compiled and published this first complete general map of the Hungarian Empire (Mappa generalis regni Hungariae, 1804-1808), together with the complete index in (Repertorium, 1808).
