The maps have numbers in the map itself, which are usually 1 digit different from the version number by the Railroad archive. The last four maps in the series, 21,27,28,29, increase scale to 1:800 The date is estimated based on the paper watermarks and the historical record of the A & N Railroad. Paper is J. Whatman watermarked with dates from 1859 to 1872.
