A set of 190 9 x 9 inch negatives from an Aerial Survey of San Francisco taken in July and August of 1948, most likely by Harrison Ryker although there is no name given on the negative sleeves. This survey comes ten years after the first Ryker aerial survey of 1938 (see our 5852.000). Negatives have been scanned to positive and the digital files provided by the Western Neighborhoods Project. The database, image processing, and large composite image by David Rumsey. Set lacks #39 although no coverage is lost due to the adjoining photos overlapping.
