Alphabetically listed streets, monuments etc. are located on the plan by means of a ribbon, ruled in centimeters, that pivots on a pronged metal fastener attached at the mid point of the left border. Distance from the fastener is given in centimeters, while direction is given in terms of a number from 1 to 136, as printed along the top, right, and bottom margins of plan. 64 pages of text, including history of Bon Marche and index to Paris. Letterpress index printed by E. Plon. Plan printed in black and red. Cover in blue cloth, stamped in gold.
