Date estimated, based on the text. Maps are engraved by W. Hughes. Atlas is bound in half leather green cloth covered boards with "Historical Atlas. Quin" stamped in gilt on the spine. Maps show progressively receding cloud borders to indicate the expansion of geographical knowledge over time, hand colored and folded, most dated 1846. Includes index.
