Selected lunar features are shown at high magnification to highlight and clearly illustrate certain regions. It contains 103 pages, including 92 uncolored plates, illustrations and 8 maps. Includes "Index to names," "Lunar contents," and "List of illustrations, Plates" numbered in full title to match map numbers. Bound in navy blue cloth covers with view of the moon pasted under title, reading "The Moon. W.H. Pickering" in white.
