Commissioned by the Comite National de Propagande en Faveur du Vin, a government agency that promoted the French wine industry. Map portrays a region with towns marked with pentagons, and surrounded by various motifs and emblems relating to the region, showing illustrations relating to the production of wine such as wine barrels and vines, as well as pictures of local peoples in traditional provincial clothing.
