A black and white photograph of the William Cather Family chart from "The World of Willa Cather" by Mildred Bennett, the founder of the Willa Cather Pioneer Memorial. The family tree has Willam Cather & Caroline Cather at the top; George Perry & Franc Smith, Charles F. & Jennie Boak; Alverna; Virginia & John G. Ayre at the second tier, and the grandchildren (L-R) Carrie, Blanch, G.P., Frank, Oscar, Willa, Roscoe, Douglass, Jessica, James, Elsie, and John at the bottom tier. There is also a record of the first and second marriages of Alverna (Willa Cather's aunt) as well as the children of those marriages: Kyd and Wilella. At the bottom of tree is the caption: "This chart of the William Cather family shows only those children who grew into adulthood and came to Nebraska" as well as the written indicator: "Page 588."
